dc.description.abstractThe global economic crisis resulted in increasing unemployment in the countries of European Union. European Union implemented strong policy measures in order to improve the conditions of labor market. In this study, the effects of the labor market policies of European Union on the labor force and labor participation rate of women by considering different education level of the women labor force are analyzed with statistical methods by comparing the periods before and after of the global economic crisis. Main result of the study shows that while decreasing labor force of women with different education level, policy measures implemented in European Union countries increased labor participation rate of women significantly.en_US
dc.description.abstractKüresel ekonomik kriz Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinde işsizliği artmasına yol açmıştır. Avrupa birliği işgücü piyasası koşullarını iyileştirmeye yönelik önemli politika tedbirleri uygulamaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada Avrupa birliğinin işgücü piyasası politikalarının kadınların farklı eğitim düzeylerini de gözönüne alarak kadın işgücü ve kadınların işgücüne katılım oranı üzerindeki etkileri küresel ekonomik kriz öncesi ve sonrası dönemi karşılaştırarak istatistiksel yöntemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen temel sonuç, farklı eğitim düzeylerinde kadın işgücü oranı düşerken, Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinde uygulanan politikaların kadınların işgücüne katılım oranlarını istatistiksel olarak artırdığını göstermektedir.en_US
