| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada; Perseus miti, kahramanlık mitosu çerçevesinde arketipler ve semboller yönünden ele alınarak incelenmektedir. Mitoloji ile psikoloji arasında ilişki kurularak, arketipsel semboller Perseus kahramanlık miti üzerinden yorumlanmaktadır. Böylelikle insanın kendini ve dünyayı anlama çabasında mitlerin yol gösterici rolü psikoloji ile uğraşanlar için önemli görülmektedir. Yirminci yüzyılın en ilginç kişiliklerinden biri olan Jung ve onun Analitik Psikolojisi bu incelemenin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Perseus miti, ana eksen olarak Jung ve onun takipçilerinin görüşleri çerçevesinde ilerler. Bu çalışmayı kapsayan Perseus kahramanlık mitosunun arketipsel incelenmesi, Jung ve Campbell’in eserleri başta olmak üzere, çok sayıda literatürdeki evrensel sembollerin, analitik psikolojinin temel kavramlarıyla birlikte ilişkilendirilmesi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmeler, kadın/anne ile erkek/çocuk arasındaki çatışma, diğer yandan bir kişinin kendisine üstün gelen bir güce karşı verdiği mücadele ile bu gücü yenmesi ve üstün gelmesi olarak özetlenebilir. Sonuç olarak, Perseus’un yolculuğu insanın kendi içine daha doğrusu kendi “ben”ine doğru yaptığı kahramanca bir yolculuktur. Ve bu yolculuk geçmişte olduğu gibi bugün de ve çağlar boyu tüm insanlığın ortak bilinçdışında yaptığı evrensel bir yolculuktur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the myth of Perseus was analyzed in terms of the archetypes and symbols within the framework of heroism. The archetypal symbols were interpreted through the myth of Perseus heroism, establishing the relation between mythology and psychology. Thus, the guiding role of the myths on one’s struggle to get to know oneself and the world was considered to be crucial for the individuals engaging in psychology. Jung, one of the most interesting people in the 20th century, and his Analytical Psychology, made up the basis of this analysis. The myth of Perseus mainly proceeded according to the viewpoints of Jung and his followers. The archetypal analysis of the myth of Perseus heroism – the scope of the study -, was associated with the universal symbols and the basic concepts of Analytical Psychology in numerous works in the literature, primarily with those of Jung and Campbell. These evaluations could be summarized as the conflict between the woman/mother and the man/child, as well as the individual’s fighting against the power reigning over him; his defeating this power and becoming superior over it. Consequently, Perseus’s journey was a heroic journey to the one’s inner side, in other words, to the one’s “self”. As it was in the past, it should be regarded as a universal journey of the humankind done in the common unconscious level, in the present and through the ages. | en_US |
