The scale assesses the incomplete experiences and unresolved conflicts which are important for the course of the grief. Results: Confirmatory Factor analysis results indicated that two-factor model was a good fit to the data. Criterion validity analysis result showed that there was a strong correlation between the UBBS-Brief and the Complicated Grief Inventory. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient for total score was 0.75. Conclusion: Consequently, the Turkish version of the USSB-Brief has adequate psychometric properties. It can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool in evaluating of unfinished business with the deceased.
