dc.description.abstract | In this work a 5th order low pass filter is designed and simulated. All line widths and lengths were optimized with Sonnet Suite, a 3-D Planar Electromagnetic simulation tool [1]. First design had more than 5 GHz of cutoff frequency but lower return loss. An optimized geometry resulted in very satisfactory results of both insertion and return losses. | en_US |
