Özet
Küreselleşmenin etkisi ile birlikte; mesafelerin kısaldığı ve ticarete konu olan ürünlerin çeşitlenip, miktarının arttığı bir ortamda, satış ve satın alma imkanlarının kolaylaşıp pratik hale gelmesi dünya ticaretinde taşımacılığın önem kazanmasını sağlamıştır. Taşımacılıkta maliyetlerin ucuzluğu, taşınan mal miktarı ve güvenlik en önemli unsurlardandır. Dünya yüzeyinin %71‘i deniz, %21‘i karalardan oluşmaktadır. Dünya üzerindeki su yüzeyinin, kara yüzeyine oranla daha fazla olması, ticaret ve ulaşımın büyük ölçüde deniz yolu ile yapılmasını zorunlu hale getirmektedir. Deniz yolu ile yapılacak her türlü ticaret ve yolculuk pek çok riski de beraberinde getirmektedir. Olabilecek risklerin azaltılabilmesinde ve sürdürülebilirliğin devam etmesinde sigorta bilinci önem kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, oluşabilecek zararın azaltılması ile ilgili örnekler ve vaka çalışmaları üzerine bir inceleme yaparak deniz yolu ile taşımacılıkta ortaya çıkabilen risklerin sigorta ile hangi şartlarda teminat altına alınabileceğini ortaya koymaktır.
With the effects of globalization; in an environment that distances are shortened and the products that are subject to trade are diversified, becoming easy and practical of selling and purchasing opportunities has provided importance to the transportation in the world trade. Cheapness of the cost of transportation, the amount of transported goods and security are the most important factors. 71% of the surface of the earth consist of seas and 21% of land. Since surface of the water on earth is more than the land surface, it makes the trade and transport imperative to do largely by sea route. All kinds of trade and travel by sea also brings with it many risks. Insurance awareness becomes important in order to decrease the risks that may be, and to maintain the sustainability. The purpose of this study is to reveal that in which circumstances the risks that can arise in transportation by sea can be guaranteed by doing an investigation on case studies and examples about reducing the damage caused.
