Özet
In this study, we designed and simulated an embedded spiral-shaped microstrip patch antenna for medical biotelemetry applications. Important design parameters were studied to understand their effect on the antenna performance. The antenna is able to download patient's health information from the implanted devices. Sonnet Suite, a 3-D Planar Electromagnetic simulation tool is used for simulations. Simulated antenna has maximum gain of 6.6 dB with -13 dB input match at 8.87 GHz. The antenna impedance is easily adjusted by controlling the inner stub length. © 2017 ACES.
