dc.description.abstract | COVID-19 outbreak has gone beyond a regional impact in a short time and become a global problem. The negative effects of the outbreak required some changes in social and work life. Organizations must take measures to ensure their sustainability and protect health of their employees. The objective of this study was to examine the relationships between organizational measures to protect the health of employees during the outbreak process and both organizational trust and affective commitment, and then the moderator role of neuroticism in these relationships. Accordingly, this research was conducted with 257 private sector employees. In this study, Organizational Measures for Outbreak, Personality Traits, Organizational Trust and Organizational Commitment Scales were used to collect data. The results showed that there were significant and positive relationships between organizational measures and both organizational trust and affective commitment. In addition, it was found that when the current working status of the employees was controlled, the effect of organizational measures on organizational trust was moderated by neuroticism. Accordingly, as the level of neuroticism increases, the effect of organizational measures on organizational trust decreases. The results were discussed in the light of related literature and practical implications were presented for organizations. | en_US |
