Abstract
Çin'de ortaya çıkan ve pek çok ülkeye yayılarak dünyada en önemli gündem maddesi haline gelen koronavirüs diğer adıyla Covid-19 salgını Ortadoğu ülkelerinde de sosyal ve ekonomik anlamda tedbirler alınmasına neden oldu. Virüsten ciddi şekilde etkilenen İran ve Körfez ülkelerindeki kriz yönetimini ve izlenen politikaları incelemek Ortadoğu’nun değişen sosyo-ekonomik yapısını anlamamıza yardımcı olacaktır. Bu çalışmada Körfez İşbirliği Konsey ülkeleri ve İran örnekleri ele alınmış, bu ülkelerin ekonomik ve siyasi yapılarına ait genel bir tanımlama ardından koronavirüs sürecinin yönetilmesi ve bölgedeki etkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. İran bu pandemiden en erken ve en şiddetli etkilenen Ortadoğu ülkesidir, Körfez Arap Ülkeleri de yoğun göçmen nüfusları olan ve pek çok açıdan dışa bağımlı ülkeler olduğundan farklı etkilenme süreçleri yaşamaktadırlar. Ancak koronavirüs sürecinde hepsinde ortaya çıkan ortak durum ekonomik ve siyasi anlamda değişim taleplerinin şiddetlenmesi ve kaçınılmazlığı olmuştur.
A number of political and economic arrangements were applied in the Middle East countries because of Coronavirus first appeared in China and has spread to worldwide by becoming the most important debate everywhere. Analyzing pandemic policies and the crises management in Iran and the Gulf countries will help for a better understanding of changing socio economic structure of the region. This study focuses on Iran and the Gulf countries by providing information on political and economic situation of these countries, then discusses on coronavirus policies and the impact of the pandemic on these countries. Iran is the first and the worst virus hit country and the Gulf countries are depend on outside in many ways and have a high immigrant population, so we can see different impact on Coronavirus on these countries. However, political and economic change in the region seem as a common expectation after the coronavirus pandemic.
