| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmada İnsan Genom Projesi (HUGO)’nin sonuçları ve neden olabileceği olası etik problemler somut örnekler üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada, HUGO’nun taşıdığı potansiyel risklerin gerçekleşmesi durumunda, bireyin sosyal hak ve özgürlüklerinin, etik, sosyal norm ve değerlerinin bundan ne şekilde etkileneceği, sınırların nerede başlayıp, nerede sona ereceği detaylı bir şekilde ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Genetik müdahalelerin sonucunda bireyin araçsallaştırılarak metaya dönüştürülebileceği sorunu üzerine tartışmalar yapılmış ve ne yazık ki genetik müdahalelerin bireyin temel hak ve özgürlüklerine müdahale edilmesine yol açabilecek bir yapıda olduğu saptanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this research, it is evaluated through concrete examples the results of HUGO and potential ethical problems that it may cause. It is explained deeply that when it is realize that carried potential risks of HUGO, how will be effected people’s social rights, freedoms and where will start and finish their freedom because of HUGO’s results. The research discusses the problem of regarding people as instruments and argues that genetic interventions have the potential to interfere with people's private lives, rights and freedoms. | en_US |
