Özet
Bu araştırmada çalışan evli kadınların, ekonomik özgürlüklerinin aile içi rollere olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma, çalışma grubunun deneyimlerine ulaşmak adına nitel araştırma yöntemi ile yürütülmüş ve Fenomenoloji (olgubilim) deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt (kriter) örnekleme tekniği ile seçilen 20 evli, çalışan ve çocuk sahibi kadın oluşturmaktadır. Veriler açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan "Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu" ve Demografik Bilgi Formu ile toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri içerik analizi yöntemi ile 4 ana tema oluşturularak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre; ekonomik özgürlük, geleneksel aile yapısından gelen çalışan kadınların günümüzde aile içi rollerini bir noktaya kadar kadın adına olumlu etkilemiştir fakat bu etki kadının rollerinin belirgin bir şekilde dönüşümünü sağlayamamıştır. Kadınların çalışma hayatına girmelerine, para kazanmalarına rağmen erkeğin egemenliğindeki geleneksel rollerle şekillenmiş olan aile yapısı içinde, çok az yeni eklenmiş rolleriyle değişemeden devam etmektedirler. Ekonomik özgürlük, kadınların kendilerini güvende, işe yarar, güçlü hissetmelerini sağlarken öte yandan ev ve iş hayatının sorumluluklarını birlikte yürütmek durumunda kaldıklarından yükümlülüklerini katlamıştır. Eşler, kadınların çalışmasına destek vermektedir fakat ev içi sorumluluklarda paylaşım yapmamaktadır; iş paylaşımında ve çocuk bakımında erkeklerde ataerkil aile yapısından gelen genel anlayış devam etmektedir. Ekonomik özgürlük kadını sosyolojik ve psikolojik olarak bir noktaya kadar desteklemiştir ama yeni ve belirgin bir sosyal kimlik inşa etmesine imkân verememiştir. Günümüz çalışan kadını gelenekselci rollerle modern roller arasında kalmıştır. İş insanı, anne, eş gibi çoklu rolleri olan kadın üzerine yapılacak her çalışma kadının sorunsallarının ortaya çıkmasına ve çözüm önerilerinin sunulmasını sağlaması açısından önem arz ermektedir. The effect of married female workers' economic freedoms on domestic roles was examined in this research. To reveal the experience of the study group, the qualitative research method was used ın this research, phenomenological design in the qualitative research approach was preferred. The criterion sampling technique was used to determine the study group, which consists of 20 married, working, child-bearer women. The data were collected by using a 'Semi-Structured Interview Form' which comprising open-ended questions, and 'Demographic Information Form'. The content analysis method was used to evaluate the data of the study by composing 4 main themes. According to the research results, economic freedom has positively affected domestic roles of the working women from the traditional family structure up to a certain point, however, this effect has not been able to transform women's roles significantly. Despite the fact about women being in working life and earning money, without no changes they continue their lives with very few newly added roles within the family structure shaped by the traditional roles dominated by men. While economic freedom made women feel safe, useful, and powerful, on the other hand they increased their responsibilities as they had to carry out the responsibilities at the same time at the home and at the work. It has been observed that spouses support women's work despite they do not contribute to their domestic responsibilities, it was seen on men that the patriarchal family structure continues in sharing duties and in caring children. Also, economic freedom sociologically and psychologically supports women up to a certain point but does not allow them to build a new and a distinct social identity. Nowadays, working women are caught between traditional roles and modern roles. Every study on women with multiple roles such as businessperson, mother, wife is important in terms of revealing women's problematics and findings solutions proposals.
