Özet
Bu çalışmada, yatırım bankalarının günümüzdeki yeri ve gelişimi anlatılarak ilgili mevzuat doğrultusunda sektör çalışanlarının fikirlerine başvurulmuştur. Çalışmada yatırım bankacılığı ile beraber genel anlamda servet yönetimine de yer verilmiştir. Öncelikle yatırım bankacılığının tarihsel gelişimi evrensel boyutta aktarılmıştır. Ardından, Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren özel sermayeli yatırım bankaları ve yabancı sermayeli yatırım bankaları tanıtılmıştır. Araştırma, sektör çalışanlarına yönelik saha araştırmasını kapsamaktadır. Sonuç olarak, Türkiye'de yatırım bankacılığının geleceği vardır. Diğer gelişmiş ülkeler kadar iyi konumda yatırım bankalarından bahsedemesek de gelişimini devam ettirmesi için birçok yol bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada verilen örnekler ile birlikte gerçek anlamda bir yatırım bankasına sahip olma yolunda ilerleyebiliriz. Servet yönetiminin de daha fazla kitleye ulaşabilmesiyle birlikte yatırım bankacılığı Türkiye'de daha çok gelişecektir.
This study, by means of explaining the importance and development of investment banks nowadays, is submitted for the review of the sector professionals in accordance with the related legislation. Together with investment banking, wealth management is also covered in general terms. First and foremost, the historical development of investment banking has been discussed in terms of universal scale. Subsequently, private equity and foreign capital investment banks operating in Turkey are introduced. The study includes the field research with sector professionals. Consequently, investment banking in Turkey has a future. In spite of the fact that we cannot mention strong investment banks as in other developed countries, there are still several ways for their improvement. We can achieve to maintain an investment bank in real terms together with the examples shown in this study. As wealth management reaches the masses, there will be more chances for the development of investment banking in Turkey.
