Özet
Tarihi merkezler, şehirlerin ilk kurulduğu yerler olarak özel bir öneme sahiptir. Şehrin mimari mirasını oluşturan, geçmişten gelen çoğu yapıyı barındırır. Bu yapıların, geleceğe ulaşabilmesi için korunması gerekmektedir. Zaman içerisinde birçok etken tarihi merkezdeki yapıları çeşitli şekillerde etkileyerek, onlarda farklı düzeylerde hasarlar oluşturmuşlardır. Tüm bu etkenler içerisinde en önemlilerinden biri de çevresel koşulların anıtsal yapılara olan etkileridir. Tez konusunu oluşturan çevre koşullarının tarihi merkezler üzerindeki etkisi araştırılırken, bu etkiler genel olarak iklimsel, fiziksel, kimyasal ve biyolojik kökenli olarak ayrılmıştır. Bir sonraki aşamada, yapıları oluşturan malzemeler temelinde, etkenlerin, oluşturabildikleri hasarlar incelenmiştir. Tez çalışmasında, anıtsal yapıların bozulmasına etki eden faktörler, iç ve dış nedenler olarak genel bir sınıflandırmaya tabi tutulmuş ardından bu nedenler ayrı başlıklar halinde incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonraki aşamasında, dört yapı malzemesinden ahşap, metal, taş ve topraktan her birine birer örnek olacak şekilde, dört anıtsal yapı seçilerek bu yapıların çevresel etkiler karşısındaki durumu incelenmiştir. Son olarak da çalışmadan çıkarılan sonuç ve önerilerle çalışma tamamlanmıştır.
Historical centers have a special importance as the places where cities were first established. It houses most of the buildings from the past that make up the architectural heritage of the city. These structures need to be preserved in order to reach the future. Over time, many factors have affected the buildings in the historical center in various ways, causing different levels of damage to them. Among all these factors, one of the most important is the effects of environmental conditions on monumental structures. While investigating the effects of environmental conditions, which are the subject of the thesis, on historical centers, these effects are generally divided into climatic, physical, chemical and biological origins. In the next step, on the basis of the materials that make up the structures, the damages that the factors can cause were examined. In the thesis, the factors affecting the deterioration of monumental structures were classified as internal and external causes, and then these reasons were examined under separate headings. In the next stage of the research, four monumental structures were selected as an example for each of the four building materials, wood, metal, stone and soil, and the situation of these structures against environmental effects was examined. Finally, the study was completed with the conclusions and recommendations drawn from the study.
