Özet
Günümüzde hızla değişen, büyüyen ve karmaşıklaşan küresel dünya içinde firmalar birbiriyle sürekli rekabet halindedirler. Bu rekabetçi çevre içerisinde firmalar ayakta kalabilmek için kaynaklarını en doğru şekilde kullanmaları gerekir. Firmalar rekabet gücünü yukarı çekebilmek için müşteri talep ve isteklerine öncelik vermelidirler. Ayrıca taleplere en kısa sürede cevap verebilme ve pozisyon alabilme konusunda tedarik zincirinde çevikliğin çok önemli bir faktör olduğunun farkında olmalıdırlar. Firmalar rekabet avantajını, farklı piyasalarda değişken müşteri taleplerini en kısa sürede, doğru zamanda cevap vererek kazanmaktadırlar, bunu da tedarik zincirinde çeviklik faktörüne yoğunluk vererek kazanabilirler. Firmalar belirsizlik durumlarında faaliyetlerini sürdürebilmek ve rekabetçi olabilmek için tedarik zincirinde çevikliğe önem vermelidirler. Teknoloji belirsizliği durumunda firmalar müşteri taleplerine ve beklentilerine uygun teknolojideki ürünleri tedarik ederek çözüme yönelik pozisyon almaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada, tedarik zinciri yönetiminde çevikliğin ve teknoloji belirsizliğinin firma performansına etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, teknoloji belirsizliğinin, tedarik zinciri çevikliğini ve tedarik zinciri çevikliğinin de firma performansını pozitif yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Tedarik zinciri çevikliğinin ve teknoloji belirsizliğinin, firma performansı üzerinde değişken etkisi istatiksel olarak kanıtlanmıştır.
Nowadays, firms are continuously competing in an intensively changing, growing and complicated global world. In this competitive environment, firms should use their resources efficiently for surviving. Firms should give a priority to customer demands and needs to strenghten their competitiveness level. And they should be aware of that supply chain agility is crucial factor regarding quick response given to customer demands and actions taken accordingly. By focusing on supply chain agility, firms can get competitive advantage in volatile markets in order to fulfill customer expectations at the right time and urgent manner. In case of uncertainty, firms should pay attention to supply chain agility to run their business and to protect their competitive character. Also in case of technological uncertainty,firms are taking necessary actions by supplying necessary products with regards to customer demands and expectations. In this research, the impact of agility in supply chain management and technology uncertainty on firm performance is studied.And it is proven that technolgy uncertainty has a positive impact on supply chain agility and also supply chain agility on firm performance.In short, the impact of both supply chain agility and technology uncertainty on firm performance is found to be statistically significant.
