Abstract
In mass housing projects, implementation time of project is a vital success factor. If these projects are not finished on time, contractor companies are having some problems. Increasing cost of project, legal problems with project customer, workforce plan problems, financial problems and lack of resource transferring ability to other projects are some of those problems. Turkish construction companies often have these problems. One of the job has to be done for preventing the late finishing of mass housing projects is effective time planning. In this study, a PERT model is created to be a sample for mass housing projects in Turkey. In the beginning, mass housing project activities are determined and a PERT model is created. Second, a database is generated about activity times by collecting real construction project data. Finally, optimistic time, most likely time and pessimistic time is determined after that PERT calculations are made for creating a sample time plan.
