Kadın girişimcilerin işlerini kurarken karşılaştıkları sorunların demografik faktörler bağlamında incelenmesi

Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı kadın girişimcilerin işlerini kurarken karşılaştıkları sorunlar ile demografik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi Şanlıurfa ili özelinde ortaya koymaktır. Yöntem: Veri toplamada anket tekniğinden faydalanılmış olup anket uygulaması yüz yüze gerçekleştirilmiştir. 31 sorudan oluşan anket Şanlıurfa Sanayi ve Ticaret Odasında 63 kadın girişimci ile yüz yüze yapılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma evreni içerisinden elde edilen veriler kodlanarak bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmış ve analizler için hazır hale getirilmiştir. Değerlendirmede nicel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizinde SPSS-21 paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma farklı sosyal-kültürel yapıya sahip bir şehirde yapılmıştır. Bu açıdan çalışmanın literatür ve örgütler açısından önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bulgular ve Sonuç: Araştırmanın sonunda işlerini kurarken ailelerini ikna etmek zorunda kalmayan kadın girişimciler ile ikna etmek zorunda kalan kadın girişimcilerin karşılaştıkları sorunlar arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmüştür. İkna etmek zorunda kalmayanlar daha fazla sorun yaşamıştır. Yine işlerin kurulması aşamasında medeni durum, sahip olunan çocuk sayısı ve aylık gelir gibi demografik özellikler açısından ise kadın girişimcilerin karşılaştıkları sorunlar arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır. Özgünlük: Kadın girişimcilerin işlerini kurarken karşılaştıkları sorunlarla ilgili farklı bölge ve şehirlerde yapılmış birçok çalışma literatürde bulunmaktadır. Şanlıurfa’da ise bu anlamda yapılan ilk çalışmalardan biri olması çalışmanın özgün yapısını oluşturmaktadır. Zira bu şehir sosyo-kültürel özellikler ve bu özelliklerin belli ölçülerde şekillendirdiği girişimcilik olgusu noktasında bir takım farklılıklar taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın literatüre katkı sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to reveal the relationship between the problems faced by women entrepreneurs while establishing their businesses and their demographic characteristics in the province of Şanlıurfa. Method: Questionnaire technique was used in data collection and the questionnaire was applied face to face. The survey, consisting of 31 questions, was conducted face-to-face with 63 women entrepreneurs in Şanlıurfa Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The data obtained from the study universe were coded and transferred to the computer environment and made ready for analysis. Quantitative research methods were used in the evaluation. SPSS-21 package program was used in the analysis of quantitative data. The research was conducted in a city with a different social-cultural structure. In this respect, it is thought that the study is important in terms of literature and organizations. Findings and Conclusion: At the end of the study, it was seen that there was a significant difference between the problems faced by women entrepreneurs who did not have to convince their families while establishing their businesses and women entrepreneurs who had to persuade. Those who did not have to persuade had more problems. Again, there was no significant difference between the problems faced by women entrepreneurs in terms of demographic characteristics such as marital status, number of children and monthly income during the establishment of businesses. Originality: There are many studies in the literature about the problems faced by women entrepreneurs in establishing their businesses in different regions and cities. The fact that it is one of the first studies in this sense in Şanlıurfa constitutes the original structure of the study. Because this city has some differences in terms of socio-cultural characteristics and the phenomenon of entrepreneurship shaped by these features to a certain extent. In this context, it is thought that the study can contribute to the literature.
