dc.description.abstractRekabet Kurulu 2013 yılında 12 bankaya tarihinin en yüksek para cezasını vermi?tir. Kurul bankala-rın mevduat, kredi ve kredi kartı hizmetleri pazarında faiz oranlarını birlikte belirleyerek 4054 sayılı Rekabetin Korunması Hakkında Kanun?u ihlal ettikleri sonucuna varmı?tır. Kurulun bu idari para cezası sonrasında, ihlal dönemi içerisinde söz konusu bankalardan hizmet satın alan mü?teriler, gör-dükleri zarar için tazminat talebinde bulunma hakkı elde etmi?lerdir. Zarar, mü?terilerin ödedikleri maliyetle rekabet kısıtlanmasaydı ödeyecekleri maliyet arasındaki fark olarak tanımlansa da bu tanımı pratikte uygulamak kolay değildir. Bu çalı?mada, bankalar arasındaki rekabetin kısıtlanması nede-niyle doğan zararın hesaplanmasını göstermek amacıyla önce-sonra yöntemi uygulanmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe Competition Board imposed in 2013 its highest fine in its history to 12 banks. The Board con-cluded that the banks violated Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition by determining the interest rates together in the deposit, credit and credit card services market. Following the administra-tive penalty of the Board, customers receiving service from these banks during the infringement pe-riod have obtained the right to demand compensation for the damage they incur. Although damage is defined as the difference between the cost that clients pay and the cost they would pay if competition was not restricted, it is not easy to apply this definition in practice. In this study, before-after method is applied to calculate the loss arising from the restriction of competition between banks.en_US
