Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, farklı etnik kökenden gelen bireylerin evlilik uyumlarının çeşitli demografik özelliklerden etkilenip etkilenmediğini araştırmaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma örneklemi, Marmara Bölgesinde ikamet eden, farklı etnik kökenlerden gelen evli bireyler arasından, seçkisiz seçim yöntemi ile belirlenen 178’i kadın 125’i erkek 303 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından literatür taraması ve uzman görüşü alınarak oluşturulan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve Locke ve Wallace (1959) tarafından evliliğin niteliğini ölçmek amacıyla en temel ve ayırt edici olduğu düşünülen sorulardan oluşturulmuş geçerlilik ve güvenirliği olan “Evlilikte Uyum Ölçeği” kullanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre farklı etnik kökenden gelen bireylerin evlilik uyumları çeşitli demografik özelliklere göre farklılık göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, farklı etnik kökenden gelen bireylerin evlilik uyumları olumlu olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.
The primary purpose of this research is to explore if the marital adjustment of married people from different ethnicities is being influenced by various demographic qualities. The sample of the research is random sample and comprises of 303 people (178 women, 125 men) who are married with differemt ethnicities and resides in Marmara region. Data of the research are acquired with "Individual Information Form" which is created by the researcher and expert opinions. In addition, "Marital Adjustment Test" which is composed by Locke and Wallace (1959) with the aim of evaluating quality of marriage and is thought to have the most fundamental and distinctive questions and also which has validity and reliability is used. In this study, it was researched whether the individuals who have long term flirting have perceived their marriage perceptions and spouse choices according to the factors. The research is designed in a relational search pattern from quantitative research models. According to findings acquired by consequences of the research, marital adjustments of marriages among different ethnicities varies in terms of demographic qualities. As a result, marital adjustments of individuals from different ethnicities is observed as affirmative.
