dc.description.abstractİhracatın, ekonominin gelişiminde ve verimliliğin artışında önemli bir rol oynadığı kabul edilmektedir ve ihracat ayrıca yerli yatırım için önemli bir motivasyon kaynağıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, uluslararası ticaretin ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki rolünü araştırmaktır ve ampirik araştırma 1986-2017 dönemine ait verilerine dayanmaktadır. Çalışmada, Cibuti'deki ekonomik büyümede uluslararası ticaretin rolünü incelemek için En Küçük Kareler yöntemi, Johansen Eşbütünleşme testi ve VAR ekonometrik testleri kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma, ihracat, brüt sermaye oluşumu, doğrudan yabancı yatırım ve ithalat gibi ana değişkenlere odaklanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonucu, ihracatın Cibuti'nin ekonomik büyümesi üzerinde önemli bir olumlu etkisi olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu çalışmanın, mevcut akademik bilgiye katkıda bulunacağına ve Cibuti'deki hükümet stratejileri uygulamalarında ve karar almada yardımcı olmayı amaçladığına inanılmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractExports are considered to play an important role in the growth productivity and developing economies are well as a major motivator for domestic investment. The purpose of this study is to investigate role of international trade on economic growth and the empirical research is based on time series data over the 1986-2017 period. The study used econometric tests under Ordinary Least Squares regression method, Johansen Cointegration test and VAR to examine the role of international trade on economic growth in Djibouti. This study focused on main variables of exports, gross capital formation, foreign direct investment and imports. The result of this study has shown that export has a significant positive impact on the economic growth of Djibouti. This study is believed to contribute to the current academic knowledge and aim to help the decision making and implementations of government strategies in Djibouti.en_US
