Özet
Göç kavramı insanlık tarihi ile başlayan ve süregelen süreç içerisinde sık sık gündem olan bir kavram olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Çok çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı tarihin belirli dönemlerinde insanlar göç etmek durumunda kalmıştır. Özellikle siyasi baskılar ve savaş gibi unsurlar göçün en önemli nedenleri olarak görülmektedir. Medya, çeşitli olayların, gelişmelerin izlendiği, yorumlandığı ve bireylerin dünyada olup bitenleri öğrendiği, tutum geliştirdiği bir kavram olarak ifade edilmektedir. Bu nedenle bireylerin olayları kavrayışı, bu olaylara karşı bir tutum geliştirmesi ve söylemde bulunması açısından medyanın gücü ve rolü oldukça büyüktür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Suriyeli sığınmacıların Türk basınında temsilinin ulusal gazetelerde yer alan haberler aracığıyla ortaya konulmasıdır. Araştırmada içerik analizi ve eleştirel söylem analizi yaklaşımından yararlanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda incelenecek olan gazete manşetleri için Ocak 2016- Şubat 2016 aralığı belirlenmiştir. Bu tarihler arasının belirlenme sebebi sığınmacıların Türkiye’ye yeni giriş yaptıkları ve henüz “misafir” adı altında değerlendirilmeleridir. Belirtilen tarih aralığında örneklem olarak dönemin farklı görüşlere sahip üç gazetesi seçilmiştir. Bu gazetelerHürriyet Gazetesi, Sözcü Gazetesi ve Habertürk Gazetesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Gazeteler incelenirken yalnızca manşet sayfasında yer alan haberler baz alınmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Suriye, Göç, Basın, Medya
The concept of migration emerges as a concept that started with the history of humanity and is frequently on the agenda in the ongoing process. Due to various reasons, people had to migrate in certain periods of history. Particularly, factors such as political pressures and war are seen as the most important reasons for migration. Media is expressed as a concept in which various events and developments are watched and interpreted, and individuals learn about what is happening in the world and develop attitudes. For this reason, the power and role of the media is very large in terms of individuals' understanding of events, developing an attitude towards these events and making a discourse. The aim of this study is to reveal the representation of Syrian refugees in the Turkish press through the news in national newspapers. Content analysis and critical discourse analysis approach were used in the research. In this context, the range of January 2016-February 2016 has been determined for the newspaper headlines to be examined. The reason for determining these dates is that refugees have just entered Turkey and are still considered as "guests". Three newspapers of the period with different views were selected as samples within the specified date range. These newspapers were determined as Hürriyet newspaper, Sözcü newspaper and Habertürk newspaper. While examining the newspapers, only the news on the headline page was taken as a basis..Keywords: Syria, Migration, Press, Media
