Özet
Bugün bulunduğumuz yerden dünyanın öbür ucundaki mağazadan kişisel alışveriş yapmamızı saniyelere indiren sadece gelişen iletişim ve ulaşım teknolojileri değil aynı zamanda kayıtsız kalamadığımız dünya ticaret sistemidir. Hayatımızın her alanında hissetmeye başladığımız küreselleşme sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik anlamda bizi etkilemeye devam etmektedir. Küreselleşme ekonomi alanında pek çok gelişme vadetse de serbestleşme sürecini doğru adımlarla takip edemeyip hemen benimsemiş olan ülkeler yararlarından çok yarattığı sorunlarla yüz yüze kalmıştır. Küreselleşme sürecini hızlandıran sanayi devrimi, bilgi çağına geçişle günden güne gelişmeye devam eden teknoloji ve ekonomilerin entegrasyon sürecini hızlandıran uluslararası kurumlardır. Uluslararası ekonomik kurumlardan biri olan Dünya Ticaret Örgütü (WTO), dünya ticaret sistemindeki ticari faaliyetleri düzenlemek ve yönetmekle görevlidir. WTO’nun yönetimi altında olan gelişmekte olan ve az gelişmiş ülkelerin hemen hepsi korumacı eğilimlerden vazgeçip ülkelerini açık pazar haline getirmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada küreselleşme sürecinin nasıl başladığı, WTO’nun yönetimi ve uygulamalarıyla ticaret sistemine neler vadettiği ve gelinen son noktada bu vaatleri ne kadar yerine getirebildiği güncel verilerle tartışılmaya çalışılmıştır.
With globalization of the world and economies, the future has become no predictable. As the complexity of markets and psychographics make the world more unpredictable, business adapt quick shifts regardless of whether it is planned or not. Although, globalization creates more expectations and promises, the process of global markets is still questionable. World Trade Organization (WTO) is one of the entities that is responsible of monitoring and controlling the integration between least developed and developing countries’ economies of scale. However, under the control of WTO, least developed countries’ economies have become more predictable as opposed to developed countries’ economies. This unfair agreement by WTO, has been raised many questions because of the cussed applications and regulations on least developed and developing countries several times. This topic has also become a topic of public fascination and debate.
