Özet
As a result of the economic and social developments experienced in the current situation of the middle class in the 21st century, social structures are undergoing changes in social, economic and cultural areas. One of these changes in social structures is the increase in the place and importance of women in business life, the smaller of family structures and the growth of employment in domestic services and home care services with these changing phenomena. It is known that as a result of the increase in women's participation in the workforce, the need for support in home care and home services has emerged and it is observed as a constantly increasing demand for labor. This demand for labor is mostly provided by female workers. In the 21st century, it is observed that international migration has become easier and increased as a result of the removal of borders between countries and the social networks benefits between countries established with the effect of globalization. In addition, it is seen that there is an increase in the migration rates of women whose role and status in the society have changed in the increasing international migration, and that the globalization process directly affects the increasing trend of female workforce need. As a result of these reasons, we see the feminization of migration. Turkey, one of the developing countries, hosts female labor migration and one of the employment areas it provides to women immigrants is home care and home services. In this study, migration decisions and migration processes of Uzbek migrant women working in home care and domestic services, reasons for emigrating to Turkey, career choices and expected duties, being preferred by employers and employment processes, migration strategies and expectations are examined. In addition, the effects of the existence of Uzbek migrant women in domestic services and home care services on themselves, their families and the country they come from are investigated in detail in the light of the conceptual framework by associating them with existing theories.Key WordsInternational Migration, Migrant Women, Feminization of Migration, Home Services, Home Care Services.
