Özet
Türkiye’de tarihi yapıları korumak üzerine yapılan çalışmalar fayda sağlasa da sorunlar devam etmektedir. Bu sorunlardan biri olarak; cephe kapsamında korunuyor gibi görünen tarihi yapıların iç mekanlarında değer kaybına yol açan uygulamalar gerçekleşebilmektedir. Bunun sonucunda çağdaş yaşama adapte olmaya çalışan tarihi yapılar onları değerli kılan iç mekan özelliklerinin bazılarını veya tamamını kaybedebilmektedirler. Bu çalışmanın amacı; tarihi yapıların kullanılması esnasında, koruma kapsamında iç mekanlarda değer kaybına yol açan unsurları ortaya çıkarmak ve tarihi yapıları iç mekanı koruyarak kullanmanın önemini vurgulamaktır. Bu bağlamda seçilen örnekler dıştan korunuyor gibi görünen yapıların iç mekanlarında ne kadar değişime uğradıklarını belirlemeye yöneliktir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda; koruma açısından, tarihi yapıların iç mekanlarını tehdit eden unsurların, yapıların kullanım biçimine bağlı olarak irdelenmesinin önemli olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Buna göre; yeni işlevle kullanılan tarihi yapıların, özgün işlevle kullanılan yapılara göre, daha fazla müdahale gerektirerek, iç mekanda değer kaybetme riskinin artabileceği anlaşılmıştır.
There are studies in Turkey to protect the historical buildings, but still the problems continue. One of those problems is that to protect the exterior elevations of the historical buildings, but not the interior spaces. Interior spaces may loose their own characteristics. The aim of this study is to expose the factors which cause the loss in value in interior spaces of historical buildings and to emphasize the importance of the protection while using the historical buildings. In this study the examples are chosen to uncover the interior spaces of the historical buildings of which exterior elevations look like protected. As a result of this study; it is clearly seen that it is important to examine the factors which threaten the interior spaces of the historical buildings in terms of utilization of those spaces. Re-functioned historical buildings need more appliance than the historical buildings in the original usage. For this reason, the interior spaces of the re-functioned historical buildings have more risk in loosing their historical values.
