Özet
Edebi metinler aynı zamanda bir toplumunun kültürünü yansıtan kültür metinleridir. Bu makalede Theodor Storm’un “Kıratlı” adlı noveline yansıyan Alman halkının batıl inançları bulunacak dolayısıyla “Kıratlı” bir kültür metin olarak okunacaktır. Yeni tarihsellik yöntemiyle novele giren kültürel unsurlardan batıl inançlar irdelenecektir.
Literary texts are cultural texts that also reflect the culture of a society. In this article, the reflections of German people’s superstitious beliefs will be analyzed and Theodor Storm’s novella “Kıratlı” will be read as a cultural text. Superstitions, one of the cultural factors that have entered with the new historicist method into novella, will be discussed.
