dc.description.abstractBu tez çalışmasının amacı, Türkiye'de spor ekonomisi ve sporda dış ticaret alanındaki lisansüstü tezlerin nicel ve nitel yönden analiz edilmesidir. Veri kaynağı olarak Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi sitesindeki lisansüstü tez veri tabanı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada konu ile ilgili tüm tezler araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir ve 82 lisansüstü tez araştırma kapsamında incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nicel ve nitel yöntemlerini içeren karma araştırma yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistiksel yöntemler, nitel verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Konu ile ilgili lisansüstü tez üretiminde yıllara göre görece bir artış olsa da Covid-19 pandemisinin yaşandığı 2020 yılında tez üretim sayısında keskin bir düşüş olduğu görülmüştür. Marmara ve Ege bölgelerinin tez üretiminin yarıdan fazlasını yaptığı tespit edilmiştir. Spor branşları içerisinde en fazla lisansüstü tezin futbolda yapıldığı görülmüştür. "Ulusal ve uluslararası futbol ekonomisi", "sporun finansmanı, sponsorluk, yayın gelirleri, sporda bahis, maç günü gelirleri", "spor merkezleri, fitness merkezleri, yerel spor kulüpleri", "Borsa İstanbul (BİST) spor endeksi hisseleri", "Türkiye'deki uluslararası spor organizasyonları" ve "yurt içindeki şehir, ilçe ve lokasyonlar" spor ekonomisi ve dış ticaret alanında yapılan tezlerin odaklandığı ana araştırma konusu temaları olarak bulunmuştur. E-spor ile ilgili az sayıda çalışma olsa da, son yıllarda küresel çapta hızla artan katılımcı sayısı ve ekonomik büyüklüğü ile spor ekonomisi ve dış ticaret alalında gelişmekte olan bir araştırma alanı olarak görülebilir. Sonuç olarak, spor ekonomisinin büyümesi ve sporda dış ticaretin arttırılması için konu ile ilgili araştırmaların tüm ülkeye ve farklı spor dallarına yaygınlaştırılması gerektiği düşünülebilir. Karma araştırma yaklaşımı ile yapılan araştırmaların konu ile ilgili problem durumlarına daha kapsamlı ve etkili çözümler üretilmesine katkı sağlayabileceği düşünülebilir. Bu hedefe ulaşabilmek için ileriki araştırmalarda karma araştırma deseni kullanımının arttırılması önerilebilir. Bu sayede konu ile ilgili nicel verilere ek olarak nitel verilere de ulaşılabilir ve daha kapsamlı araştırmalar yapılabilir. dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to analyze the postgraduate theses in the field of sports economy and foreign trade in sports in terms of quantitative and qualitative aspects. The postgraduate thesis database on the National Thesis Center site of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) was used as the data source. In the research, all the theses related to the subject were included in the research and 82 postgraduate theses were examined within the scope of the research. A mixed research approach, which includes quantitative and qualitative methods, was used in the research. Descriptive statistical methods were used in the analysis of quantitative data, and content analysis method was used in the analysis of qualitative data. Although there has been a relative increase in the production of postgraduate thesis on the subject over the years, it has been observed that there has been a sharp decrease in the number of thesis production in 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic was experienced. It has been determined that Marmara and Aegean regions do more than half of thesis production. It was seen that the most postgraduate thesis was made in football among sports branches. "National and international football economy", "sports financing, sponsorship, broadcasting revenues, sports betting, matchday revenues", "sports centers, fitness centers, local sports clubs", "Borsa Istanbul (BIST) sports index shares", "Turkey "International sports organizations in Turkey" and "city, district and locations within the country" were found to be the main research themes of the theses in the field of sports economy and foreign trade. Although there are few studies on e-sports, it can be seen as a developing research area in the field of sports economy and foreign trade, with the rapidly increasing number of participants and economic size globally in recent years. As a result, it can be thought that research on the subject should be extended to the whole country and different sports branches in order to grow the sports economy and increase foreign trade in sports. It can be thought that the researches made with the mixed research approach can contribute to the production of more comprehensive and effective solutions to the problem situations related to the subject. In order to achieve this goal, it can be recommended to increase the use of mixed research design in future studies. In this way, in addition to the quantitative data on the subject, qualitative data can also be accessed and more comprehensive research can be conducted.
