Abstract
Bu çalışmada temel olarak Makyavelizmin değişime direnç üzerindeki etkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Bunun yanında, anılan ilişkide örgütsel hafızanın düzenleyici rolü de incelenmiştir. Bu nicel çalışma ilişkisel tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın örneklemini İstanbul ilinde özel sektörde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin çalışanlarından basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen toplam 102 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplamak maksadıyla anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Dört bölümden oluşan anket formunda sırasıyla; demografik sorular, Makyavelizm ölçeği, örgütsel hafıza ölçeği ve değişime direnç ölçeği yer almaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında toplanan verilerin analizinde SPSS v26 yazılımı kullanılmıştır. Çalışma hipotezlerinin testi regresyon analiziyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda Makyavelizmin değişime direnç üzerinde pozitif yönde ve anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan, anılan ilişkide örgütsel hafızanın düzenleyici rolünün olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır
In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of Machiavellianism on resistance to change. In addition, the moderating role of organizational memory in the aforementioned relationship was also examined. This quantitative study was conducted in the relational screening model. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 102 participants selected by simple random sampling method from the employees of businesses operating in the private sector in Istanbul. Questionnaire technique was used to collect data in the study. The questionnaire consisted of four parts, respectively; demographic questions, Machiavellianism scale, organizational memory scale and resistance to change scale. SPSS v26 software was used in the analysis of the data collected within the scope of the study. Hypotheses tests were carried out by regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that Machiavellianism had a positive and significant effect on resistance to change. On the other hand, it was concluded that organizational memory did not have a moderating role in the aforementioned relationship.
