Abstract
Duygusal zeka, Goleman (2000) tarafından son zamanlarda işyerinde tanıtılan bir terimdir. o zamandan beri, işyerindeki duygusal zekanın sonuçlarını ve yüksek veya düşük bir duygusal zekanın çalışanların performansını ve organizasyon içindeki etkileşimini nasıl etkilediğini incelemek için birçok çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu nedenle, çalışanların iş yerindeki refahını ve performansını etkileyen başka bir değişken vardır. Ancak işyerinde yalnızlıkla ilgili yapılan araştırmalar sınırlıdır. İşyerinde yalnızlık, işteki çalışanlar üzerindeki önemi nedeniyle fark edilmesi gereken bir konudur. Yüksek yalnızlık seviyesine sahip bir çalışan, şirket içinde iş arkadaşlarıyla ilgili sorunlar veya iş performansı zorlukları gibi birçok soruna sahip olacaktır. Bu tezin konusu, duygusal zeka ve işyeri yalnızlığı olan bu iki değişken arasındaki ilişkideki araştırmadır. Bu araştırma, duygusal zeka seviyeleri ile çalışanın işyerindeki yalnızlık derecesi arasındaki ilişkiyi vurgulamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu iki terimin her bir boyutunu ve bileşenini tek tek belirlemek ve aralarındaki ilişkiyi anlamak ve açıklamak gerekir. Bu çalışma, Fas şirketleri arasında 300 çalışanıyla değiştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın birincil verileri yapılandırılmış bir anket yoluyla toplanmıştır. Veriler tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Ve sonra duygusal zeka ile işyeri yalnızlığı arasındaki ilişkiyi kurmak için bir korelasyon analizi belirlendi. Bulgular, iki değişken arasında önemli bir korelasyon olduğunu gösterdi (duygusal zeka ve işyeri yalnızlığı).
Emotional intelligence is a term that has been introduced recently in the workplace by Goleman (2000), since then many studies have conducted to study the outcomes of emotional intelligence on the workplace and how a high or a low level of emotional intelligence affects employee's performance and interaction within the organization. Hence, there is another variable that effects employee's wellbeing and performance in the workplace. However, the researches that have been conducted about loneliness in the workplace are limited. Loneliness in the workplace is a topic that needs to be spotted for its importance on employees in work. An employee with a high level of loneliness will have many problems within the company, either relation problems with the coworkers or job performance difficulties. The topic of this this thesis research is the relationship between this two variables which are emotional intelligence and workplace loneliness. This research aims to spotlight the relation between emotional intelligence levels and the degree of employee's loneliness in the workplace. It is required to determine each dimension and constituent of those two terms one by one, as well as understanding and explaining the relationship between them. This study is commuted among Moroccan companies on 300 of their employees. The primary data of this study were collected through a structured questionnaire. The data has been analyzed using descriptive statistics. And then to establish the relationship between emotional intelligence and workplace loneliness a correlation analysis was determined. The findings showed that there is a significant correlation between the two variables (emotional intelligence and workplace loneliness).
