Özet
Bu çalışmada, lojistik, rekabet ve dış ticaret parametrelerinin, bir ülkenin ekonomik büyümesine olan etkileri birlikte detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş ve kavramsal model çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın katkısı, lojistik performans ve lojistik yatırımların, bir ülkenin ekonomik olarak büyümesine nasıl etki ettiğinin arkasındaki mekanizmanın anlaşılmasının sağlanması olacaktır. Çalışmada 93 ülkeye ait, güvenirliliği uluslararası kuruluşlar tarafından onaylanmış ikincil veriler kullanılmıştır. Lojistik Performans Endeksi, Küresel Rekabet Endeksi, Dış Ticaret Hacmi, İhracatın İthalatı Karşılama Oranı ve Ekonomik Büyüme çalışmanın boyutlarını oluşturmaktadır. Daha sonra toplanan tüm veriler incelenmiş, kuramsal olarak ortaya konulan modelin boyutları arasındaki ilişkilere göre geliştirilen hipotezlerinin test edilmesinde, çok değişkenli istatistiksel veri analizi olan "Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, lojistik performansın rekabet avantajı sağladığı ve bu suretle dış ticaret açığını kapattığını, aynı zamanda dış ticaret hacmini artırarak ülkelerin ekonomik büyümesini arttırdığı görülmüştür. Çalışmada, lojistik yatırımlar ve performansın, bir ülkenin ekonomik olarak gelişmesinde öncül bir role sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
In the present study, the effects of logistics, competition, and international trade parameters on the economic growth of a country were investigated together in detail, and evaluated in the context of a conceptual model. The contribution of this study will be that it will facilitate the understanding of the mechanism behind the effects of logistic performance and logistic investments on the economic growth of a country. Secondary data from 93 countries whose reliability was confirmed by international institutions were used in the study. Logistic Performance Index, Global Competition Index, Foreign Trade Volume, Export/Import Coverage Ratio, and Economic Growth constitute the dimensions of the study. All the data that were collected in the study were analysed, and the "Structural Equation Model", which is a multivariate statistical data analysis, was used in testing the hypotheses that were developed according to the relationships between the dimensions of the model that was put forward hypothetically. As a result of the study, it was concluded that logistic competition provides a competitive advantage, covers the foreign trade deficit, and meanwhile, enhances the economic growth of countries by increasing the foreign trade volume. In the present study, it was also found that logistic investments and logistic performance play precedential roles in the economic growth of a country.
