Özet
Gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ayrımı olmaksızın, tüm ülkelerin ekonomilerinin temeli, neredeyse tamamen KOBİ’lere dayanmaktadır. Bu nedenle de, KOBİ’lerin sorunları ve çözümü her zaman ülkelerin gündemlerinin ilk sıralarında yer almıştır.. KOBİ'ler Avrupa Birliği’nin ekonomisinin de bel kemiğini oluşturmaktadır. Avrupa Birliği’nde bulunan tüm işletmelerin %99,8’i KOBİ’dir. Bu KOBİ’ler katma değerin %57,6’sını, istihdamın ise %66,5’ini meydana getirmektedir. 2002-2010 yılları arasında Avrupa Birliği’nde yaratılan yeni istihdamın %85’i KOBİ’lerce sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Avrupa Komisyonu’nun yayınladığı raporlar ve çalışmalardan faydalanılarak, Türkiye de dahil olmak üzere Avrupa Birliği’nde yer alan KOBİ’lerin genel sorunlarına ve bu sorunların çözümleri için Avrupa Birliği tarafından oluşturulmuş politikalara değinilmiştir.
Regardless of the developed or undeveloped distinction, almost all of the economies are based on SME’s. For this reason, the problems and solutions of SME’s have always been at the top of the agenda of the countries. SME’s are also the backbone of the EU’s economy. The European Union defines SMEs as the backbone of its economy. 99.8% of all businesses in the European Union are SMEs. These SMEs make up 57.6% of the added value and 66.5% of the employment. 85% of the new employment created in the European Union between 2002-2010 was provided by SMEs. In this study, the general issues and the policies implemented of SME’s in the EU were investigated.
