dc.description.abstractHizmetler sektörü eskiden bir ülkenin endüstriyel üretimi açısından ikincil bir güç parametresi iken, artık verimlilik, rekabet gücü ve yükselen yaşam standartları açısından daha önemli hale gelmiştir. Küreselleşen dünya ekonomisi içerisinde hizmet ihracatının turizm, ulaştırma gibi katma değeri düşük geleneksel kişisel hizmetlerinden, internet, bilişim teknolojileri ve platform ekonomilerindeki devrim addedilebilecek değişikliklerin sağladığı altyapılar sayesinde giderek daha fazla katma değeri ve sofistikasyon seviyesi yüksek modern hizmet kalemleriyle kaydığı görülmektedir. Hizmetler sektörünün dinamiklerinde meydana gelen gelişmelere bağlı olarak son yıllarda dış ticaret literatüründe, ekonomik kalkınma ve büyüme sürecinin temel bileşenlerinden bir tanesinin, bir ülkenin üretim ve özellikle ihracatındaki "sofistikasyon seviyesinin" artması olduğunu savunan küçük hacimde, ancak hızla büyüyen bir literatür ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada, hizmetler sektörüne yönelik kuramsal gelişmelerin evrimi, çok taraflı ticaret sistemi(GATT/DTÖ) kapsamında gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerin hizmet ihracatına bakış açıları analiz edilmekte, Ülkeler hizmet ihracatında sofistikasyon seviyesindeki gelişmelerle Kişi Başına Gayri Safi Yurtiçi Hasıla (GSYİH) büyümesi ilişkisi nicel yöntemle değerlendirmektedir. Çalışmadaki bulgular hizmet ihracatında sofistikasyon seviyesinin artmasıyla birlikte kişi başına gelirin olumlu etkilendiğini göstermekle sonuçlar gelir gruplarına göre farklılıklar göstermektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractWhile the services sector was previously perceived as a secondary driving force concerning development processes, it is now seen as a more important sector in terms of efficiency, competitiveness and rising living standards. Thanks to the revolutionary changes in information technologies in the globalizing world economy, it is seen that the composition of world service exports is shifting from traditional personal services with low added value such as tourism and transportation to modern service items with more added value and high level of sophistication. The Study examins the relationship between the "level of a country's services sophistication in relationship to economic growth. It also examines the evolution of theoretical developments in the services sector, evalutaes the perspectives of developed and developing countries on service exports within the scope of the multilateral trading system (GATT/WTO). Finally, it also assesses the relationship between the developments in the sophistication levels of countries' service exports in relation to the and their per capita GDP growth using a quantitative method. The findings of the study reveals the fact that per capita income is positively affected by the increase in the level of sophistication in service exports, albeit the results vary according to different income groups.en_US
