Özet
In this study, the normative and political perspectives of migration phenomenon were touched upon and the crucial role of the Directorate General of Migration Management was taken up in frame of the new legal regulations. New regulations in Turkish Migration Law have enabled taking migration issues which remain to be solved quickly and definitely in terms of legitimacy under the control. In this study, national migration legislation was examined, and foreign scientists' rights in Turkey were investigated from the viewpoint of Turkish Foreigners' Law'. Likewise, the EU-funded migration projects and possible financial supports for foreign researchers in Turkey were argued in frame of practice dimensions.
