Abstract
KOBİ'ler dünya ve ülke ekonomisinde önemli yer tutmaktadır. Ülke yönetimleri eski büyük işletme yapıları yerine daha küçük, adaptasyonu yüksek küçük işletmelerin varlığı desteklenmektedirler. Ulusal ve uluslararası otoriteler, büyük yapıların değişime uyum sağlamalarındaki zorluk ve büyük maliyetlere neden olması, küçük yapılara imkân tanıma yönünde politikalar geliştirme çabalarını desteklemektedirler. Bu küçük kurumlar, yapısal ve ekonomik sorunlarla mücadele etmektelerdir. Ülkemiz gibi gelişmekte olan ekonomilerdeki KOBİ'lerin, işsizliğe olumlu katkıları ve istihdam oluşturmaları, ekonomik ve sosyal alanda sürdürülebilir yapılara olumlu etkileri mevcuttur. Bununla birlikte, yerellik ve orta sınıfın korunması açısında da KOBİ'lerin önemini anlamada da önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, KOBİ'lerin büyüme sürecindeki yapısal özelliklerinin stratejik çerçeveden değerlendirilmesini sağlamaktır. KOBİ'lerin stratejik önceliklerine yönelik faktörlerin, rekabet gücünü artıran unsurların ve mevcut kurumsal yönetim biçiminin önem düzeyi değerlendirmesi yapılarak, stratejik çerçeve netleştirilmiştir. Çalışma 2022 yılına ait güncel verileri içermesi açısından önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmanın sınırlılıkları, soru formunu, firma sahipleri veya yetkili yöneticilerin cevaplamada zorlanmaları olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada soru formu 45.000 işletmeye gönderilerek cevaplamaları talep edilmiştir. Soru formunun tamamı e-mail yoluyla gönderilmiş, telefon teyitleri ile süreç desteklenmiştir. Güvenilirlik analizi yapılmış ve verilerin üst düzey güvenilir olduğunu anlaşılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma değerlendirilmelerinden sonra, firma sahiplik durumu ve eğitim düzeyine göre farklılık analizleri yapılmıştır. Mann Whitney U testi sonuçları firma sahiplik durumuna göre çeşitli faktörler açısından farklılıkları ortaya koyarken eğitim düzeyini esas alan Kruskal Wallis testi sonuçları herhangi bir farklı değerlendirme olmadığı sonucunu ortaya koymaktadır. SMEs have an important place in the world and national economy. The existence of smaller, highly adaptable small businesses is supported instead of the old large business structures. The difficulties and high costs of large structures in adapting to change support the efforts of national and international authorities to develop policies to enable smaller structures. These small structures are struggling with structural and economic problems. In developing economies like our country, SMEs contribute positively to unemployment and create employment, which has positive effects on sustainable structures in the economic and social field. In addition, it makes SMEs important in the social field in terms of locality and protection of the middle class. The aim of this study is to evaluate the structural characteristics of SMEs in the growth process from a strategic perspective. The strategic framework was clarified by evaluating the importance of the factors for the strategic priorities of SMEs, the factors that increase their competitiveness, and the current corporate governance style. The study is important in terms of including up-to-date data for 2022. The limitations of the study were determined as the questionnaire form being answered by the company owners or authorized managers. In the study, a questionnaire was sent to 45.000 enterprises and they were asked to answer them. All of the questionnaires were sent via e-mail, and the process was supported by phone confirmations. Reliability analysis reveals that the data is highly reliable. After the arithmetic mean and standard deviation evaluations of the obtained data, difference analyzes were made according to company ownership status and education level. While the results of Mann Whitney U test reveal differences in terms of various factors according to company ownership, the results of Kruskal Wallis test based on education level reveal that there is no different evaluation.
