dc.description.abstractPetrol, uluslararası alanda rekabet içinde bulunan ülkelerin ekonomik, politik stratejilerini belirlemede keşfedildiği günden beri öncelikli bir öneme sahip olmuştur. Uluslararası rekabetin geçmişine baktığımızda her türlü mücadele ve savaşta ana bir rol oynayan ve ülkelerin sınırlarının çizilmesinin arkasındaki neden olarak gösterilen petrolün günümüzde de küresel güç olarak adlandırılan ülkelerin stratejilerini belirlemeye devam ettiği gözlemlenmektedir. Dahası, petrolün global ekonomi için taşıdığı değerin gelecekte de petrole dayalı küresel stratejilerin yapılmasını zorunlu kılacağı öngörülmektedir. Günümüzde uluslararası her alanda meydana gelen ve jeopolitik faktörler olarak nitelendirilen gelişmeler ve değişimler, ülkelerin petrol stratejilerini önemli ölçüde etkileme gücüne sahip bulunmaktadır. Ülkelerin petrol potansiyelleri ve jeopolitik konumları ülkelerin küresel stratejilerdeki önemini belirlemektedir ve bu bağlamda Orta Doğu ve Avrasya, bölgelerindeki ülkeler küresel stratejilerin ve uluslar arası rekabetin odak noktasını oluşturmaktadırlar. Dahası, günümüzde petrolün bulunduğu yer kadar petrolü küresel pazarlara ulaştıracak olan yollar gibi jeopolitik faktörlerin de küresel aktörler olan ülkelerin petrol stratejilerini belirlemede önem kazandığı gözlemlenmektedir. Bu nedenle, jeopolitik ve jeostratejik önemi göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, uluslar arası enerji pazarlarının arz ve talep marketlerini birleştiren bir köprü durumundaki Türkiye bugün küresel petrol stratejilerinin odak noktasında durmaktadır. BTC boru hattının tamamlanmasıyla Türkiye'nin önemi daha da artmıştır, bu nedenle Türkiye istikrarlı ekonomi ve siyasi politikalar izlemeli, bölgesel ve küresel bir aktör olarak önemini devam ettirecek stratejiler geliştirmelidir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn the economic and political strategies of nations that compete in international arena, oil has been of the prior importance since its discovery. Oil, which played a major role in all sorts of struggles and wars and marked as the reason behind the drawing of the borders of the countries in the history of international competition, is observed to determine the strategies of the countries that can be counted as global powers at the present day. Furthermore, it?s projected that the strategic importance of the oil for the international economy makes the oilbased strategies necessary in the future. At the present day, progresses and changes, qualified as geopolitical factors, in every global area have a significant effect on the oil strategies of countries. Oil potentialities and geopolitical positions of the countries determine their importance in the global strategies and in this context Eurasian and Middle Eastern countries are on the focus of global oil strategies and global competition. Furthermore, it is observed that not only the geography in which oil exists but also the geopolitical factors such as the oil transportation routes gained importance in the oil strategies of global actors. Thus, bearing in mind its geopolitical and geostrategic position, today Turkey stands at the focusing point of global oil strategy for being an important bridge unifying supply and demand of international energy markets. With the completion of BTC Pipeline, Turkey?s importance increased further, thus Turkey should follow stable policies in economy and politics, and develop strategies to keep its position as an important regional and global actoen_US
