dc.description.abstractÇalışmada; Nokta kazançlarının renk evrenine etkisinin incelenmesi için Xerox DC-700 dijital baskı makinesi kullanılmıştır. Baskılar renk yönetimi aktif edilip ISO 12647-2 ofset baskı standardı simule edilerek ve Direct Image adı verilen renk yönetimi aktif edilmeden standart çalışma konumunda yapılmıştır. Her iki konumda da Xerox dijital baskı makinesi ile nokta kazanç eğrisi üzerinden nokta değerleri değiştirilerek baskılar yapılmıştır. Nokta kazanç eğrisindeki %50’ lik nokta üzerinden sırasıyla, 5, 10 ve 15 birim artırılarak ve 5, 10, 15 birim azaltılarak nokta şişmesinin renk evreni üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Nokta kazancı en fazla orta tonlarda gerçekleştiği ve basılan görüntüye en fazla etkiyi orta tonlar yaptığı için nokta kazancı eğrisi üzerinde orta tonları temsil eden %50 lik tram ton değeri değiştirilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, Xerox DC-700 digital printing machine was used to investigate the effect of dot gain on color gamut. Prints were made with color management activated, the ISO 12647-2 offset printing standard simulated, and the color management, which is called Direct Image, in standard position without being activated. Also, printings were made in both positions with Xerox digital printing machine by changing the dot values on the dot gain curve. The effect of dot swelling on the color gamut was examined by increasing 5, 10, and 15 units and also decreasing 5, 10, and 15 units from the dot of %50 on the dot gain curve. Since dot gain obtains mostly on the medium tones and impact the printed image most in medium tones, the %50 tonal value that represents the medium tones on the dot gain curve was altered.en_US
