Öğe Analysis of business positions requiring professional competence certificates in civil aviation(Mersin Üniversitesi, 2017) Çemberci, Murat; Onursal, Fatma Serab; Artar, Okşan; Uca, Nagehan; Civelek, Mustafa EmreRecent data of Civil Aviation in Turkey shows that the sector is getting bigger. With the development of technology, the economic tariff packages created by airline operators with shorter flight times and higher flight frequencies have increased the business volume of the sector. This trend has also increased the demand for human resources in the sector. Human resources trained in the field of civil aviation demanded by the sector have also been taken into consideration by the universities and universities have increased the number of departments/programs and quotas in order to train qualified human resources. However, the lack of curriculum, teaching staff, and foreign language and professional competence certificates in universities creates problems for those trained in civil aviation working in job positions in the sector. This article is the first in Turkey to address these problems within the scope of trainings that provide professional competence certificates, employment figures and enterprises. In the conclusion of the article, a map of professional competence certificates has been developed.Öğe Analyzing the effect of one-stop shopping on purchase intention in E-Commerce(IGI Global, 2022) Ertemel, Adnan Veysel; Civelek, Mustafa EmreBeginning with the advent of the internet in the mid-nineties, e-commerce started to be a viable alternative way of shopping for consumers worldwide. Without doubt, it could be said that e-commerce has become indispensable in our lives. Unemployment is expected to reach an unprecedented level due to the rise of automation and artificial intelligence technologies. The creation of excess fiat money will not be a remedy for the collapse of the capitalist economy. In the future, a new economic model open to government intervention will be needed. Moreover, if global monetary system collapses, government should find a solution to continue foreign trade in order to meet the needs of their citizens. Trade unions are classical means that increase trade among the member countries, but they cause imbalance in mutual trade volumes. The advent of blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies will bring an end to the obsolete and outdated foreign trade methods. These technologies will also lead to the emergence of balanced trade unions across countries. This paper focuses on defining a new system known as intelligent trade matrix, suggesting that this system will allow barter transactions between two countries without imposing any customs duty.Öğe Blockchain technology and final challenge for paperless foreign trade(Avrasya Bilimler Akademisi, 2018) Civelek, Mustafa Emre; Özalp, AbdurrahmanRecent developments in the field of electronic documents have given signs that the use of paper will completely eliminated after a period of time in all business processes. As a result of the developments in information systems, the use of electronic documents has become widespread and even become mandatory in some areas. Foreign trade financing is one of the areas where electronic documents are useful. But use of electronic documents has not yet become widespread in this area. The continuation of paper-based processes shows that this area needs radical and comprehensive changes such as infrastructure, legal compliance, innovative products and investments. Foreign trade requires the creation of common platforms that bring together all parties involved in the transaction so that paper documents can be completely removed. In this case, legal integration from one country to another is required in many areas from electronic signature to foreign trade. The emergence of blockchain technology, which has the ability to provide document integrity without the need for a third party to act as a trusted third party, has created a new hope for this integration. This study approached to the electronic documents in foreign trade and finance in the perspective of blockchain technology.Öğe A Brand-New Definition of Management under the Rule of Robots(Avrasya Bilimler Akademisi, 2019) Civelek, Mustafa EmreDo you want your fate to be determined by a person who moves with the feeling, probably makes irrational decisions or is self-interested; or by an artificial intelligence that will always give priority to the common interests of the stakeholders in their decisions? This paper consists of scale proposal to measure paperless trade performance under the primary dimension (payment, customs, insurance, transport, archiving) from the secondary dimensions perspective (speed, errors, costs, security, predictability, tracking & tracing, reporting). Findings show that a complex nested model is needed to verify the validity of the scale. The theoretical contribution of this research is the development of a method for a scale in paperless trade. The managerial contribution of this research is to provide an instrument for assessing the paperless trade performance of foreign trade companies.Öğe Development phases of e-government(ADAMOR Toplum Araştırmaları Merkezi, 2019) Civelek, Mustafa EmreIn post-digital ecosystem, the implementation of effective electronic government systems comes to the fore as a strategic priority. Removing paper based processes and increasing integration of the systems used by different departments and agencies are directly related to the power of a government. e-Transformation of the government from traditional to electronic takes place in four stages, namely the phase of initial presence, unification, integration and social transformation. In the initial presence phase, each government institution separately provides services to citizens through its own site. In the unification phase, citizens will be able to access all government agencies' systems through a single website with a single username and password. In the integration phase, the systems of all government agencies will be linked to a common reference and archive system as well as common databases. Finally, in the last phase, the most important phase of electronic government applications, it will be ensured that citizens and the government will meet on the internet through electronic government applications. In this phase, the society will become an information society, and thus increase its productivity at individual level. Therefore, e-government projects have strategic importance for governments.
