Özet
Dünyada 19. Yüzyılın ardından küreselleşme hızla etkisini hayatın her alanında göstermeye başlamış ve şehirlere olan göçün ardından şehirlerdeki yoğunluk hızla artmıştır. Buda beraberinde çeşitli sorunlar doğurmuş, yaşanabilirlikle ilgili çeşitli tartışma ve araştırmaların, yapılmasına neden olmuştur. Yaşanabilir, sürdürülebilir şehirlere ve yaşam biçimine yerel bir kalkınma modeli olarak sunulan Sakin Şehir modeli; insanı hem çevresi hem de kendi kendisini mutlu edecek, üreten ve toplumla kaynaşabilen ortamların oluşmasında önemli faktörlerden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada gerçekleştirilen bir anket çalışmasıyla sakin şehir modeli araştırılarak sonuçları hakkında tespit ve önerilerde bulunulmaktadır.
Globalisation has gradually become influent in people’s life since 19th century. As related to that issue, population density has also increased in city centres. This brings variety of problems and many researches, projects and discussions have being launched about Liveability. Consequently, liveability has been considered together with Cittaslow (slow city) concept. Cittaslow, as an ideal product of modern life style, aims that people live together in peace with other people around them, become more productive and more integrated into social life. In this paper, relation, correlation, cause and effect matters were examined and discussed; also a survey report was used.
