Abstract
Altı Sigma metodunu kullanarak prosesleri yalınlaştırmak ve sorunları analiz etmek mümkündür. Altı Sigma Metodu, hem üretim hem de hizmet sektöründe uygulanabilen, hedefi maliyet düşürmek ve satısı/pazar payını yükseltmek olan ve bir işletmeyi bütünsel olarak kapsayan stratejik bir inisiyatiftir Bu çalışmada otomotiv yan sanayiinde faaliyet gösteren bir işletmede bir Altı Sigma uygulaması gerçekleştiriliştir. Bu uygulamada otomotiv parçaları üretilen bir fabrikada üretim hatları ambalaj poşet sarfiyatı problemi incelenmiş ve sarfiyat miktarı minimum seviyeye çekilmeye çalışılmış, ve kazanç sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Yapılan ölçümler ve diğer çalışmalar neticesinde ölçülen yeni değerlerle poşet boyutları iyileştirilmiş ve tedarikçilere bu konuda yeni talepler getirilmiştir.
Simplification of processes and analysis of problem is possible by using the method of Six Sigma. The method of six sigma is applied for both manufacturing and service industries. Its goals are decreasing costs, and increasing sales/ market share of the company. In this study, a six sigma application is performed in a firm performing in automotive sub constractor sector. Problem of bag consumption in manufacturing lines in a factory producing automobile parts is investigated, and consumption rates is tried to withdraw a minimum level.
