Özet
Üretim sistemleri tasarımı ve yönetimi ile ilgilenen gerek akademisyenler, gerekse uygulamacılar, optimum değerleri bulmak için büyük çaba sarf etmekte, gelişmiş yazılımlar kullanmaktadır. Buna karşılık, yalınlaşmayı temel alan yaklaşımlar ve yönetim sistemleri ise, uzun vadeli düşünce yapılarıyla geleceğin yüksek performanslı üretim sistemleri için gerekli ortamı biçimlendirmeye çalışmaktadır. Bu bildiride her iki yaklaşım, karşılaşılan zorluklar ve uygulanabilirlik yönünden değerlendirilecektir.
Both academicians and practitioners, interested in the design and management of production systems, are making great effort to find the optimum values, using sophisticated software. On the other hand, the lean based approaches and management systems will shape the production systems for high performance work environments by long-term structures of thoughts. In this paper, both approaches in terms of the difficulties faced and their applicability are evaluated.
