Özet
Tekstiller UV radyasyonuna karşı koruma sağlarken, bu aşamada radyasyonun dozu da önem taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle tekstil materyallerine UV absorban maddeler, liflerin üretimi esnasında ya da bitim işlemlerinde uygulanmaktadır. UV absorban maddelerin kullanılmasıyla, tekstil ürünlerinde UV ışınlarının geçirgenliğinin yoğunluk derecesi azaltılır. UV absorbanları, materyale gelen ışık tarafından oluşan olumsuz etkileri engeller. Bu araştırmada 2/1 rips örgüsünde % 100 pamuklu kumaş kullanılmış ve UV absorbanların etkileri yöntemler açısından karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu yöntemler; klasik ve ultrasonik banyo yöntemleridir. Rips 2/1 dokuma kumaşa, ön terbiye işlemleri uygulandıktan sonra iki farklı yönteme göre % 0 ve %3 UV absorban madde uygulanmıştır. Takip eden uygulamada bu kumaş% 0.1 Procion Brilliant Red HE-GXL (Dy-Star) boyarmaddesi ile boyanmış, boyamadan önce boyama esnasında ve boyamadan sonra kumaşa %0 ve %3 UV absorban uygulanmıştır. Kumaşların 290-400 nm dalga boyu aralıklarında % transmitans değerleri ölçülmüştür. Bu değerler kullanılarak UPF dereceleri hesaplanmış ve UV radyasyona karşı koruma kategorileri belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca kumaşların beyazlık derecesi, ?E* ve ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Boyanmış kumaşların haslık özellikleri de incelenmiştir.
Textiles can protect us against this UV radiation but in this case the amount of UV radiation is very important. For that reason, UV absorbing materials is applied to textiles when producing the fibres orin finishing process. With using this UV absorbing materials into textiles, the density degree of UV ray’s permeability is decreased. UV absorbers prevent thenegative affects of the rays that come through the textiles. In this research, 100% cotton fabrics were used rib 2/1 weave and UV absorbent’s effects were compared by methods. This methods are, classic and ultrasonic baths. % 0 and % 3 UV absorber agent was used to the pre-treatment process applied fabric according to the 2 different methods. Following the application of preliminary processes, these fabric specimens were dyed with 0.1% Procion Brilliant Red HE-GXL (Dy-Star). UV absorbers were added before, during and after dyeing at the concentrations of 0 % and 3 %. Textiles, % transmittance values is measured in between 290-400 nm wavelength. Using this values, the UPF values are reckoned and the protection categories against UV radiation are examined. Beside this, textiles whiteness degree and ?E* measurements is applied. the fastness propertiesof dyed fabrics was also examined.
