dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada ilk olarak kentsel dönüşüm kavramı, kavramın tarihsel gelişimi, kentsel dönüşüm çeşitleri ve boyutları incelenmektedir. Daha sonra Hollanda’nın Rotterdam şehrinde gerçekleştirilen Kop van Zuid kentsel dönüşüm projesi incelenmiştir. Kop van Zuid kentsel dönüşüm projesi ile âtıl bir liman bölgesi karma bir kullanım alanına dönüştürülmüş, şehir ekonomisine katkı sağlanmış ve şehrin kuzey ve güney yakaları birbirine bağlanmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, firstly, the concept of urban regeneration, the historical development of the concept, the types and the dimensions of urban transformation are examined. Then the Kop van Zuid urban regeneration project in Rotterdam, the Netherlands was examined. The Kop van Zuid urban regeneration project transformed an idle port area into a mixed use area, contributed to the city economy, and the northern and southern sides of the city were connected.en_US
