dc.description.abstractDünyada doğal kaynakların hızla tükendiğinin anlaşılmasıyla birlikte, sürdürülebilirlik kavramı ve sürdürülebilir gelişme hedefleri önemli algılanmaya başlamıştır. Sürdürülebilirlik, belirli bir oranda veya seviyede tutulabilme kabiliyetidir. Sürdürülebilir gelişme kavramı günümüz ihtiyaçlarını gelecek jenerasyonların kendi ihtiyaçlarını karşılama yeterliklerinden ödün vermeksizin karşılayan gelişme olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Sürdürülebilirlik bir şeyin devamlılığını sağlamakla ilgilidir. Sürdürülebilirlik sağlıklı yapılaşma için bir çerçeve sağlamaktadır. Yeşil binaların uygulamaları bu çerçevede önem kazanmaktadır. Yeşil binalar ile hedeflenen yapının çevresine olan olumsuz etkilerinin azaltılmasıdır. Bunun için çeşitli yeşil bina derecelendirme sistemleri geliştirilmiştir. En bilinenleri LEED ve BREEAM’dır. Türkiye’de de yeşil binalara bir farkındalık ile böyle binaların örneklerinin arttığı görülmektedir. Yeşil bina konsepti kentsel dönüşüm kapsamında değerlendirilebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada yeşil bina konseptinin ülkemizde kentsel dönüşüm uygulamalarında değerlendirilme olanağı ve sınırlılıkları araştırılmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractWith the understanding of the rapid depletion of natural resources in the world, the concept of sustainability and sustainable development goals have started to be perceived as important. Sustainability is the ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level. The concept of sustainable development is defined as the development that meets the needs of the future generations without compromising their ability to meet their own needs. Sustainability is about ensuring the continuity of something. Sustainability provides a framework for healthy settlement. The applications of green buildings gain importance in this context. With the green buildings it’s aimed to reduce the negative impacts of the targeted structure on the environment. Various green building rating systems have been developed for this purpose. The best known are LEED and BREEAM. With a developing awareness to the green buildings in Turkey the examples of such buildings increase, it’s seen. Green building concept can be evaluated within the scope of urban transformation. In this study, the possibility and limitations of green building concept in urban transformation applications in our country are investigated.en_US
