Öğe Assessing port service quality dimensions with fermatean fuzzy AHP method(İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi, 2023) Tatar, VeyselAssessing the quality of businesses and improving them accordingly is critical for sustainable competitive advantage. This study focuses on evaluating the dimensions affecting the service quality of sea ports, which contribute significantly to the development of global trade. Therefore, this paper aims to determine the importance weights of the dimensions of the ROPMIS model presented by Thai (2008). In today's world, Fermatean fuzzy sets (FFSs) are a useful tool in many decision-making problems due to the possibility of better capturing human uncertainty and subjectivity. The weights of dimensions of the ROPMIS model are determined with AHP method under the Fermatean fuzzy environment. The suggested approach is an effective means of managing the ambiguities and errors in the data pertaining to the dimensions' weights. In order to provide a tool for assessing and ranking port global quality dimensions that may have an impact on sustainable port service quality, this study serves as a benchmark for subsequent research.Öğe Assessment of Environmental Performance of Ports Utilizing an Integrated LBWA- MARCOS Decision-Making Approach Based on Picture Fuzzy Sets(Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH, 2024) Tatar, Veysel; Ayvaz, BerkThe management of a port is of critical economic significance because of its part in global trade. However, the expansion of port operations and the continued use of antiquated methods of labor have resulted in detrimental effects on the environment, thereby posing challenges to sustainability of ports. In order for ports to compete in the global market and to ensure customer satisfaction, the importance that port managers attach to environmental indicators comes to the fore. In this context, this study suggests a fuzzy integrated MCDM strategy that combines the picture fuzzy LBWA (PF-LBWA) and picture fuzzy MARCOS (PF-MARCOS) approaches in order to achieve this goal. The proposed model is also demonstrated through environmental performance analysis of ten major ports in Türkiye. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.Öğe Çay tarımı çalışanlarında işe bağlı kas iskelet sistemi rahatsızlıklarına yönelik ergonomik risk değerlendirme: Doğu karadeniz bölgesinde bir saha araştırması(İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi, 2023) Tatar, Veysel; Yazıcıoğlu, Osmanİşe bağlı kas-iskelet sistemi rahatsızlıkları (İKİSR), mesleki rahatsızlıkların büyük bir çoğunluğunu temsil eden yaygın sağlık problemleridir. İkinci olarak Fine-Kinney risk parametreleri farklı bulanık AHP (aralık değerli sezgisel AHP, aralık değerli nötrosofik AHP, aralık değerli Pisagor AHP) yöntemleri ile ağırlıklandırılmış ve elde edilen kriter ağırlıkları küresel bulanık TOPSIS yöntemine entegre edilerek karşılaştırılmıştır.Öğe An integrated Fine-Kinney risk assessment model utilizing Fermatean fuzzy AHP-WASPAS for occupational hazards in the aquaculture sector(Institution of Chemical Engineers, 2024) Ayvaz, Berk; Tatar, Veysel; Sağır, Zeynep; Pamucar, DraganThe multidisciplinary field of occupational health and safety (OHS) aims to identify, assess, and mitigating hazards that arise in the workplace or due to the execution of the work. The Fine-Kinney method is a quantitative risk assessment widely applied in many industries to identify, evaluate and prevent potential hazards. Despite the widespread usage of the classic Fine-Kinney approach in several research, its effectiveness in addressing the issue of objective risk appraisal among decision-makers is limited. Therefore, this study proposes a comprehensive occupational risk assessment framework that integrates the Fine-Kinney method with the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) under the Fermatean fuzzy environment. The Fermatean fuzzy set (FFS) offers a more flexible solution in determining the uncertainty and vagueness of information, as it covers membership and non-membership degrees in a wider area compared to intuitionistic and Pythagorean fuzzy sets. The AHP approach is used to calculate the weightage of each Fine-Kinney risk parameter (probability (P), exposure (E), and consequence (C)), and WASPAS method is used to find the ranking of the hazards. In the proposed model, Fermatean fuzzy weighted geometric (FFWG) operator is used for aggregation of expert opinions. Finally, sensitivity and comparative analyses are also performed to further highlight the adaptability and efficiency of the proposed occupational health and safety risk assessment (OHSRA) model, and a case study analyzing occupational hazards for aquaculture operations is presented to demonstrate the model's rationality and feasibility.Öğe A novel risk assessment model for work-related musculoskeletal disorders in tea harvesting workers(IOS Press BV, 2023) Tatar, Veysel; Yazıcıoğlu, Osman; Ayvaz, BerkWork-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are the most common occupational health problems in agriculture workers due to repetitive and excessive force movement activities involved in their job processes. The Fine-Kinney method has been commonly used as a quantitative evaluation method in risk assessment studies. Classically, the risk value via Fine–Kinney is calculated by the mathematical multiplication irrespective of the degree of importance of each risk parameter (probability (P), exposure (E), and consequence (C)). Hence, a novel risk management model was proposed based on integrating Fine-Kinney and spherical fuzzy AHP-TOPSIS. First, each risk parameter is weighted using the spherical fuzzy AHP (SF-AHP). Second, the spherical fuzzy TOPSIS (SF-TOPSIS) method is used for hazard ranking. The proposed model is applied to evaluate risks in tea harvesting workers for work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Subsequently, a sensitivity analysis is carried out to test the proposed model. Finally, we compare the proposed model’s applicability and effectiveness with the spherical fuzzy COmbinative Distance-based ASsessment (SF-CODAS) method based on Fine-Kinney. The ranking similarity between the proposed Fine-Kinney-based SF-TOPSIS and SF-CODAS methods is checked by applying Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient, in which 92% of rankings are matched.
