Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul ilinde ikamet eden ve danışmanlık talebi ile gelen 20 anne oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından literatür taraması ve uzman görüşü alınarak oluşturulan mülakat sorularından ve travma’yı tanımlamak için oluşturulan ‘Travmatik Yaşantılar Listesi’ kullanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre travma yaşamış annelerin çocuklarının psikososyal gelişimi demografik özelliklere göre farklılık göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, travma yaşamış annelerin çocuklarının psikososyal gelişiminin olumsuz etkilendiği gözlemlenmiştir.The main purpose of this research is; This study aims to investigate whether the attitudes of mothers who have experienced trauma have an impact on the development of their children. The study group consisted of 20 mothers residing in Istanbul and requesting counseling. The data of the study were created by using the literature review and expert opinion by the researcher and by using the ‘ List of Traumatic Experiences’ created to identify the trauma. According to the findings of the study, psychosocial development of children of traumatized mothers varies according to demographic characteristics.
