In this paper we provide the definition of this approach with its operators and operands, and show how expressions can be parsed, translated and processed for production of component variants. We created a Java application which is widely based on sets, to show the approach can be implemented properly and efficiently. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAlgebraComponentComponent based development (CBD)Formal approachJavaSetVariantImplementation of variants in component based software productionArticle312485492Q42-s2.0-8491936284710.1007/978-3-319-06764-3_62
