Bir taraftan mevcut personelin hızlı teknolojik gelişmelere adapte olması için gerekli imkânları sağlamaya çalışmaktayken, diğer taraftan da çalışma hayatına yeni yeni girmeye başlayan ve literatürde Z kuşağı olarak tanımlanan genç kuşak tanınmaya çalışılmaktadır. İşletmelerin insan kaynağını doğru yönetebilmeleri için kuşak olarak tabir edilen belirli yaş aralıklarındaki çalışanlarının işlere bakış açısı ve yeteneklerini bilmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı 21.Yüzyıl becerilerinin 2000 yılı sonrası doğumlu olan ve literatürde Z kuşağı olarak tanımlanan üniversite öğrencilerinin teknolojik yönelimleri ve kariyer planlamalarının üzerindeki etkisini araştırmaktadır. Araştırma İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesinde lisans ve ön lisans eğitimine devam eden 246 öğrencinin katılımı ile anket tekniği kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma verileri SPSS ve AMOS yazılımları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. 21.Yüzyıl becerilerinin 2000 yılı sonrası doğumlu üniversite öğrencilerinin teknoloji yönelimleri üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu görülmektedir. Demografik değişkenler üzerinde yapılan analiz neticesinde erkek katılımcıların kadınlara oranla teknolojiye eğiliminin daha yüksek olduğu ve erkek katılımcıların kadın katılımcılara göre teknolojik olumsuzluğa daha fazla maruz kaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Anne, baba eğitim düzeyine göre yapılan analizde annesi lise ve altı mezunu olan katılımcılar, annesi ön lisans/lisans mezunu olan katılımcılara göre daha fazla teknolojiye eğilim göstermekte olduğu tespit edilmiştir. While another existing personnel is trying to provide the necessary opportunities for adaptation, which is developing rapidly, the other is a younger generation to enter the business life and as Generation Z in the literature. In order for businesses to manage their human resources correctly, they need to know the perspective and abilities of their employees of some age, which are called generations. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of 21st century skills on the technological orientation and career planning of university students born after 2000 and defined as Generation Z in the literature. The research was conducted with the participation of 246 undergraduate and associate degree students at Istanbul Commerce University, using the survey technique. Research data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. It is seen that 21st century skills have a significant effect on the technology orientation of university students born after 2000. As a result of the analysis conducted on demographic variables, it was determined that male participants were more inclined to technology than women, and male participants were more exposed to technological negativity than female participants. In the analysis made according to the education level of mother and father, it was determined that the participants whose mothers were high school graduates and below were more inclined towards technology than the participants whose mothers were graduate / undergraduate.
