Bu noktada üretime dair kapitalist ilişkilerin oluşumunda söz sahibi olarak, insan ve yaşamını yeniden kurgulamaya yönelik stratejiler geliştiren bir iktidar sistematiği; biyopolitika dikkat çekmektedir. (Foucault) Biyopolitika ilişkisellikleri içinde barındıran güçler toplamıdır. Bedenleri tabi kılarak ürettiği yaşama uyarlar (Foucault,1978) ve iktidar aracılığı ile insan ve yaşamını kapsar. Mimarlık yarışmaları, içinde bulunduğu toplumunun yaşama biçimlerini şekillendiren ekonomik, politik, sosyal ve kültürel tüm verileri değerlendirip, proje yoluyla dönüştürme yetisi ile biyopolitikanın bir aracı haline gelirken, biyopolitikanın hayat bulduğu süreçleri ve ilişkisel ortamı içerisinde barındırır. Çalışmanın amacı bu ilişkisellikleri karşılaştırarak açığa çıkarmaktır.Architectural competitions bring together multitude of individual (jury, participating architect and the client) together. At this point concerning the formation of capitalist production, biopolitics takes an attention which could promote new strategies. Biopolitics is a hub of powerful disciplines (Foucault). By getting adapted to a life dependent on production industry, power has become a tool to embed human life (Foucault). Architecture competitions are mostly, a conversion project brought up by a legal authority which goes under an analysation of society’s lifestyle in terms of economy, politics, social and cultural background; Later on which turns out to be a tool of biopolitics.
