Son yıllarda yaşanan ölümle sonuçlanmış sahte rakı zehirlenmeleri bu konunun ne kadar önemli olduğunu ortaya çıkarmış ve ticaretinin resmi kurumlar önceliğinde oldukça sıkı bir denetleme ile gerçekleştirilmesinin ve belgelenmesinin gerekliliğini gözler önüne sermiştir. Bu çalışmada, literatür taraması ve ikincil veri toplama yöntemlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Konunun kapsamı,metanol'ün dünya ticareti ve bu ticaretin denetlenmesi, sanayi verileri ve amacı dışında kullanımının insan sağlığı açısından yaratabileceği problemler çerçevesinde incelenmiştir.Nowadays, many chemicals were using in different illegal applications instead of using for accepted main productions and consumptions. As methanol is cheaper than the substitutes for using this kind of good is very important in terms of both human health and the registration. The unregistrated illegal except for official controls these operations are carried out of system. In recent years, resulted in the death of fake Rakı poisoning have revealed how important this issue for the priority of goverment agencies and trade. This results show us that, the documentation and controls should be more strict and rigorous than existing condition with the necessity of realization revealed. In this study, the data collection method's the scientific literature searching method was used.
