Araştırmada önce iş tatminini etkileyen faktörler belirlenmiştir. Bu faktörler; yönetim tarzı, ödül-ceza, çalışma arkadaşları ve ücret faktörleridir. Faktörlerin belirlenmesinden sonra, bu faktörlerin, demografik değişkenlerden cinsiyet, yaş, gelir ve konum değişkenlerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre çalışanların iş tatmin düzeyleri ne düşük ne de yüksektir. İş tatminini etkileyen faktörler, çalışanların yaş ve cinsiyet değişkenlerine göre farklılık göstermezken, gelir ve konum değişkenlerine göre farklılık göstermektedir.This survey has been performed in order to identify the factors which affect the job satisfaction of municipal employees and to determine whether these factors differ or not according to demographic variables. First of all, the factors affecting the job satisfaction have been specified.These factors are way of management, reward and punishment,colleagues, and salary. After stating the factors it has been tried to clarify whether these factors differ according to the demographic variables such as gender, age, earnings and position. According to the research results,the job satisfaction of the employees is neither low nor high. The factors which effect the job satisfaction do not dshow difference according do age and gender.
