Araştırmada nicel yöntemlerden biri olan araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubuna 50’si devlet 50’si özel kuruma bağlı anaokulundan toplam 100 çocuk ile birlikte anne ve babaları katılmıştır. Araştırmada araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan çocuk gözlem formu, yine araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgiler formu, Cinsiyet Kalıpyargı Ölçeği ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan annelerin ve babaların toplumsal cinsiyet algılarının çocuklarının cinsiyet kalıpyargıları üzerinde etkili olduğu fakat çocuklarının oynadıkları oyuncakları üzerinde etkili olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır.In this study, the effect of parents' perceptions of gender in the preschool children's toy preferences and gender stereotypes was investigated. The research model, which is one of the quantitative methods, was used in the research. A total of 100 children and 50 parents from kindergarten and 50 children from kindergarten and their parents attended the study. The child observation form prepared by the researcher, the personal information form prepared by the researcher, the Gender Inventory Scale and the Gender Perception Scale were used in the study.
