Once approved, it must be followed and implemented. The application can be done partially or it can be carried out with the program step by step or all at once. If the plan has high application capability, the goal of the plan can be achieved. The ability to implement is a concept that needs to be addressed in the planning process. It varies according to many factors such as physical, demographic and economic in the determined process. The concept of planning is briefly mentioned within the scope of the study. Application tools are discussed in terms of plan applicability. In the continuation of the study, the criteria that are effective in selecting the application tool are examined.İmar planları, yerleşmelerdeki gelişmeyi kontrol altına almak, doğal kaynakları dengeli kullanmak, koruyarak geliştirmek, kültürel kaynakları korumak,yaşam kalitesini yükseltmek amacı için hazırlanan araç niteliğinde belgelerdir. Onaylandıktan sonra uyulması ve uygulanması gerekir. Uygulama kısıtlı alanda etap etap yapılabildiği gibi, tamamında tek seferde de gerçekleştirilebilir.
