Kıbrıs Adası’nın Türk ve Yunan kesimi arasındaki paylaşım mücadelesi de Ada’nın stratejik çekiciliğinden etkilenmiş ve uluslararası aktörlerinde çıkarları doğrultusunda Kıbrıs meselesine müdahil olmasıyla iki kesim arasında nihai bir çözüme ulaşılamamıştır. Doğu Akdeniz’de enerji kaynakları keşfedilmesiyle birlikte Kıbrıs meselesine enerji kaynaklarının paylaşımı üzerinden yeni bir unsur daha eklenmiştir. Bu çalışmada Enerji keşifleri sonrası süreçte Kıbrıs meselesinin nasıl bir seyir izlediği literatür taraması ile incelenerek enerji rezervlerinin keşfinin Kıbrıs meselesine ne yönde bir katkı sağladığı irdelenmiştir.The geostrategic location of the island of Cyprus has made the island the focal point of power and interest conflicts. The struggle for sharing between the Turkish and Greek parts of the island of Cyprus was also affected by the strategic attractiveness of the island, and a final solution could not be reached between the two parts, with the involvement of international actors in the Cyprus issue in line with their interests. With the discovery of energy resources in the Eastern Mediterranean, a new element has been added to the Cyprus issue through the sharing of energy resources.
